We’re back from North Carolina where we visited my husband’s family. We had a great time! Their farm is up on top of a mountain. It’s gorgeous! I would love to go back except for the bugs. On Saturday, we were playing in the creek and Simon and his cousin Jonathan found a hornets’ nest. Simon was bit twice on the leg, once on the finger, and once on the face. Jonathan was bitten 3 times between the legs and arms. Poor boys… They were feeling better after a popcicle though. Saturday night we had a campfire and roasted hotdogs and mashmallows. I got pretty good at making my marshmallows perfectly brown. I was eaten up by sand fleas though so now I’m all nice and polka-dotted… and itchy.
   We came home to Turtle greeting us at the door and Hare locked in the front closet. I know I left it open when we left, but I think Turtle locked her in it. Course, Hare made sure to let me know every chance she could that she was locked in the closet.
   Oh, our entertainment center is FINALLY going to be brought on Thursday afternoon. And… I got an email survey from Ikea, so as soon as it arrives, I’ll be sure to take it and complain about the shipping time. That part they could really use some help with. But, at least it’s finally arriving.

Okay… Going to go torture the cats by cutting their nails…

   Well, I ordered my entertainment center from Ikea here in the states. In the email they sent me, it said it would be available to ship after the 9th and it would be 5-7 days after that that I would get a call for delivery. Well, I called last week to see when it would arrive so we could plan our trip to NC to see Hubby’s family… The woman on the phone said it should be delivered today. So, I’ve been all excited because our new TV doesn’t fit anywhere else so we can’t watch it until we get the new entertainment center. So, I call today to see why they haven’t called to say when they’re bringing it today and the women on the phone tells me that it’s not due to leave the warehouse until tomorrow and that it’ll take about 4 days for it to reach the delivery company and then it’s up to them on how long it takes. I have never before regretted a purchase from Ikea, but I’m beginning to this time. One thing that Ikea USA did NOT get from their European counterparts is their customer service.

   On a good note, I did get my clip it up for my scrapbook room. I’ve already put all my stuff up on it and still need more clips, thankfully they’re on the way… I’ve been very bad with Ebay lately… I won a bunch of Cricut cartridges, like the new Winnie-the-Pooh Font & Friends cartridges, the Mickey & Friends cartridge, New Arrival, and Storefront cartridge. I’m so excited!!!
